Physicals

School Sport Physicals

Also called pre-participation physicals, sport physicals are a great way to make sure an athlete can safely play. Even if your state or school doesn’t require it, sports physicals also help to keep immunizations up to date and provide an opportunity to discuss any concerns you may have. We offer physicals for children ages 16 and up. It’s always a smart idea to check up on your child’s growth and overall health, even before they are enrolled in school! Our physicals include:

  • Physical exam
  • Height
  • Weight
  • Vision screening

Executive Health Program

An annual baseline physical examination is the foundation of your health maintenance program at Woodlands Internists. Your doctor will conduct and coordinate a comprehensive evaluation of your current health and any previous health problems you may have had. In order to determine any future risk factors due to heredity, stress, or lifestyle, he will also ask you about your family, career and social history. Upon completion of the baseline examination, you and your doctor will develop your personal Plan to maximize your health and enjoyment of life, now and in the future.

The chart below details the numerous tests and diagnostic studies, which are included in your baseline comprehensive exam. This is followed by a description of additional tests, and health management programs, that may be recommended after your doctor reviews the baseline exam results.
