Nadeem Jamil, MD

After receiving his medical degree from Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan, Dr. Jamil completed his residency in internal medicine from the University of Missouri in Columbia. He is also board certified in internal medicine. 
 
In 2002, Dr. Jamil founded Woodlands Internists for comprehensive medical care and has fulfilled various leadership positions at St. Luke’s Hospital, Nexus Long-Term Care Facility, and Park Manor Nursing Home. He lives in The Woodlands with his wife and three children. In his spare time, Dr. Jamil enjoys gardening, reading, watching classic movies, and listening to music.

Amanda Rosales, DNP

Mrs. Rosales has over 10 years of experiencing working as a nurse practitioner. She graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. While attending UT she met her husband, Manuel Rosales. After graduation, the couple relocated to Houston, Texas. While living in Houston, Mrs. Rosales worked downtown at St. Joseph’s Hospital at the Women Center. During her employment there, she attended Texas Woman’s University in the Medical Center and obtained her Master of Science Degree in Nursing in 2012. Upon graduation, her family relocated to Tyler, Texas. While residing in Tyler, she had the opportunity to work for Bethesda Health Center. Bethesda is a Christian Centered Primary Care Clinic that provides affordable healthcare for uninsured working adults. While employed there Mrs. Rosales was fortunate to work with multiple volunteer physicians from many different specialties that were eager to teach her and share their knowledge. Mrs. Rosales has always had found memories of her time at Bethesda and attributes her wide medical interests to her exposure there.

Between 2014 and 2018, she and her husband relocated to Fort Worth where she had the opportunity to work as faculty for The University of North Texas Health Science Center and Avondale Family Care. During her time in Fort Worth, she also obtained her Doctor of Nursing Practice Degree from Texas Christian University and welcomed her daughter Sofia. In February of 2018, Mrs. Rosales and her family moved to the Woodlands area and reside in Woodforest. She has spent the last 4 years working at Sandstone Family Medicine. She is excited to join Woodlands Internist and utilize her wide array of skills. She has extensive experience in family medicine, acute care treatment, hormone optimization, weight loss management, woman’s health, men’s health, joint injections, hair restoration, microneedling, botox, and dermal fillers. Her favorite part about being a nurse practitioner is forming lasting relationships with her patients by fully listening to their concerns and helping them identify the root cause of their issue.

Jeremy Orgel, MD

Jeremy Orgel, MD is a psychiatrist certified in General Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He moved with his wife Eva Marcuschamer, Ph.D., a psychologist and psychoanalyst, to The Woodlands in 2021 from San Francisco and maintains a telemedicine psychiatric practice in both Texas and California. He is licensed in both states. Dr. Orgel provides psychotherapy, psychopharmacologic evaluation and treatment, diagnostic consultations, and psychoanalysis for adults and adolescents, treating patients with a wide range of problems and diagnoses. He has been in private practice since 1994. He was also a medical director and attending psychiatrist at the Adolescent Inpatient Psychiatric Unit of the McAuley Neuropsychiatric Institute at St. Mary’s Hospital in San Francisco from 1996 to 2021. Dr. Orgel received his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine in 1990 and completed his Internship and Residency in psychiatry at the Langley Porter Psychiatric Institute of University of California San Francisco School of Medicine in 1994. At his residency graduation, he received the Henry F. Albronda Award “for exceptional psychotherapeutic skill and unusual concern for patients.” Dr. Orgel is also a graduate of the San Francisco Center for Psychoanalysis. He completed his psychoanalytic training in 2003. Dr. Orgel also has a Bachelor’s Degree in Comparative Literature and a Master’s Degree in English and Comparative Literature from Columbia University.
